Well, someone was not content to let Yazmany Arboleda get all the press for dumb stunts this week! This morning, a man managed to climb up 52 stories to the roof of the New York Times building, before police arrested him, at 12:22 p.m.Times reporters were all aflutter.

Wearing a backpack slung on one shoulder, Arthur Ochs Sulzberger Jr., the chairman of The Times Company and publisher of The Times, who is himself an avid climber, ducked under the police tape and examined the spectacle. He declined to comment.

Weird. Doesn't he know it's his own paper? You think he could say like, "Wow" or something. Anyway, the Times reports the climber, who had "long brown hair" and was wearing a T-shirt “Global warming kills more people than 9/11 every week,” was activist stuntman Alain Robert. Apparently he does this all the time and has scaled the National Bank of Abu Dhabi, the Sydney Opera House in Australia, and the Eiffel Tower and Montparnasse Tower in Paris, among other structures.
