Tom Wolfe Still Making Sweeping, Mostly True Generalizations

• Last year Tom Wolfe was on the floor of the New York Stock Exchange with a friend and the author prophesied, as he does, that "we may be witnessing the end of capitalism as we know it." • Arianna Huffington says her beef with deceased Meet the Press host Tim Russert was nothing personal; she'd only met him once. In fact, she doesn't know most of the people she insults: "I have a whole section in my book describing Bob Woodward as the dumb blonde of American journalism.
