Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae Shares Already Sinking Again

FINANCE
• Shares of Freddie Mac and Fannie Mae initially went up after the Fed's moves over the weekend, but they've sunk again already. [NYT]

• Roger Ailes, the chairman of Fox News, bought his 142-year-old hometown paper, the Putnam Country News and Recorder, for an undisclosed amount of money. The circulation is about 3,000. [NYT]
• This month's Italian Vogue, which features all black models, is flying off the shelves. The glossy is going to publish 10,000 extra issues to accommodate the demand. [WWD]

• Tenants living on Gerard Avenue in the Bronx have long been able to watch Yankees games from their apartments — a perk they'll lose after this season. [NYT]
