Barclays in Talks to Buy Lehman Assets
The British investment bank, which walked away from a deal to buy portions of Lehman last Sunday, is apparently still sniffing around. This morning they admitted that they were in talks with “certain Lehman Brothers assets on terms that would be attractive to Barclays shareholders.” However: “There can be no assurance that the discussions will result in an agreement,” the statement said.
