Doughnuts and Death Threats

There have been a fair number of "slacktivist"-versus-police scuffles in the East Village lately, with the sans-culottes pelting the cops with pastries at a recent rally, but some locals think the anti-pig rhetoric has gone too far: "Throwing donuts and pies is O.K., funny, ha ha. But calling for death is anti-reasonable and uncivilized." Yeah and watch it with the day-old crullers. Those things can do some damage. [Villager]
