As expected, “Page Six” took Rachel Maddow’s comments yesterday about them “making things up” as a cue to add her to their stable of characters they, well, “make things up” about. Problem is, there’s not a lot of juice to be squeezed out of Maddow — she’s pretty mild-mannered, and there’s only so much you can do with the lesbian thing before you get GLAAD all up in your business. Which is why, we imagine, the column has decided to combine her with Olbermann, creating an altogether new character: the Olbermann-Maddow two-headed beast!
“She is Olbermann’s protégé and is behaving like he does,” said one insider. Olbermann — who never went to the Republican National Convention (as Page Six first reported) because of his assassination fear — succeeded in getting rid of GOP analyst Mike Murphy. Let’s see who’s next to get hacked under the dynamic duo’s ax.
Garrrrrrr! Make way for the OlberMaddow Monster! It has two heads and an ax gripped between its dangerous claws, and it has run amok, trampling American values, putting good regular folks out of work, and squashing innocent conservatives under its big, stinky feet. It’s worse than Cloverfield! And also just as entertaining.
