Park Slope Roiling Over Stoop-Sale Sign Ripper

  • 9/30/08 at 5:20 PM

Park Slope denizens (a) are so proud of how ecosustainable-reusable they are and (b) can get in huge, Talmudic fights over the dumbest stuff, so no wonder, then, that everyone on the Brooklynian bulletin board is virtually at war over a guy who's ripping down people's stoop-sale signs. Con: "When some one-man army thinks he knows what's better for all of us, that's F'd up." But then pro: "This guy does a public service. It is flatly illegal to post on public property and I'm not interested in all that junk." The economy's collapsing, but you Slopies keep the focus on the big stuff. [Brooklynian]
