Wall Street–Area Houses of Worship Install Eject Buttons on Finance Types Praying Not to Lose Third Home

Churches and synagogues in the financial district have seen an uptick in business-attired attendees since last week's market meltdown. "People are just sitting there, praying or crying and definitely exhausted," says Trinity Church's reverend. In related news: God recently decided to help out those trying to make home-mortgage payments, but not former Lehman employees praying to retain the kids' Chinese tutor and the house in Turks and Caicos. Those supplicants will be struck with a thunderbolt. Or they'll just have to choose between the tutor and the house. [Yahoo News]
