In 2003, two years after the terrorist attacks on the World Trade Center, New York spoke with a variety of city-dwellers to see how their lives had changed. Some of the transformations were drastic, some were subtly simple. Now, seven years later, the sting of 9/11 has softened for many, despite the lack of physical closure we have on Manhattan's wound downtown. Watching this morning's memorial service on television was a raw but healing experience. For those of you who have lived in New York before and after the attacks, how have your lives changed? Have they at all? Or are there echoes of what happened still ringing in your life today? Let us know in the comments.
