As if watching the Phillies win the pennant wasn’t traumatic enough for Mets fans last night, those tuning in to Fox News for the debate also got to see Mr. Met literally beheaded in the background of the post-debate discussion. Thankfully it wasn’t the real Mr. Met, but the one Conan O’Brien uses on his show, as evidenced by this screen-grab of him and Triumph the Insult Comic Dog. [Deadspin]
