New Real-Estate Record-Breaker in Brooklyn
10/29/08 at 5:01 PM
A new realty record has been set in the BK: Victorian-era 88 Remsen Street in Brooklyn Heights, which includes both a "main house" of 10,000 square feet and a carriage house with a two-car garage and separate apartment. It just went for $10.8 mil, topping nearby 140 Columbia Heights, which went for $10.75 mil in 2006. The buyer is obscured behind an LLC. We don't have much more to say about this chart-topper than, uh, can we house-sit while you're in Majorca? [Brownstoner]
