Oh, Word?

Oh, Word?

From the not-as-annoying-as-it-sounds story about a Facebook group for people who grew up in Park Slope in the eighties: Roofing it: When you took someone’s Wiffle Ball or stickball and threw it over the roof. Sewer to sewer: The goal lines for touch football in the street. Skitching: Holding on to the bumper of a bus or car in the fresh snow or ice and sliding behind as you were pulled.... “'Oh word,’ in its thousands of forms, was king saying, with the enormously addictive ‘nah bro’ close second.” [NYT]
