Slate in the Tank for Obama
Continuing a tradition from 2000 and 2004, Slate's staff and contributors have come forward to reveal who they're voting for this election, and the results do nothing to dispel the notion that the elite bicoastal media is pulling for Barack Obama. Out of 57 employees who volunteered their preference, 55 are voting for Obama. The two employees who will now be whispered about around the office watercooler: deputy managing editor and copy chief Rachael Larimore, who's voting for John McCain, and editor at large Jack Shafer, who's voting for Bob Barr, a "fraud" and a "chowderhead's chowderhead." Go figure. [Slate]
