Florida Poodle Stands Up for Canine Suffrage
Gigi demands the Fifteenth Amendment be amended.Photo: Debbie Glade
Debbie Glade of Hollywood, Florida, sent us this picture of Gigi, a ten-year-old standard poodle who cast a vote for Barack Obama this week. "She was proud to exercise her right to vote for change!" says Glade. To be sure, dogs do not have the right to vote in America, but Gigi is banking on the fact that Barack Obama will, as part of a change-oriented slate, pass a Canine Suffrage Act once elected.
