Rodale Planning Job Cuts, Consolidation
Following cutbacks last week at Time Inc., Condé Nast, and others, Rodale, the publisher of Men's Health,Women's Health, and other health-centric magazines and books, is "planning changes that will affect 111 employees, or 10 percent of the workforce," according to WWD, and by "affect" they mean that positions in publishing, customer service, IT, and operations will be either consolidated or eliminated. It's not clear what percentage of the cuts will be in New York and which will be in Pennsylvania, where the company is based. [WWD]
