UBS' Wealth Management division has canceled their holiday party this year, because, as the department heads explain in a memo obtained by DealBreaker, they don't see how they can "responsibly fund it in the current environment." A few lines later, we sort of see why: "Consequently, we will donate a total of $100,000, a small portion of the cost of the party, to the two local charities…" Wait, really? $100,000 is a small portion of the cost of their annual holiday party?
