Bike Clowns Versus Hasidim Tomorrow Morning in Williamsburg
Many a business along heavily Hasidic Kent Avenue in Williamsburg is not happy about the new bike lane there, because it gets in the way of truck deliveries and parking. But tomorrow morning from 8:30 to 10 a.m., the bike community will strike back: A mess of bikers dressed as clowns will commandeer the lane and clownishly remove vehicles parked there. Uh-oh, is that a bike horn or your own big red nose you just honked? [Gowanus Lounge]
