Brooklyn More Educated and Baby-Filled Than in 2000
12/16/08 at 3:15 PM
New census data has some unsurprising news: Brooklyn is better educated and more baby-filled than it was in 2000. Twenty-five-year-olds with high-school diplomas are up 17 percent and those with bachelor's degrees are up 30 percent. Plus, in Park Slope, the number of kids under 5 has jumped 35 percent, just in case you couldn't feel that viscerally while dodging sippy cups on Seventh Avenue. [NYDN]
