Democrats had hoped a victory for Martin and one for Al Franken in Minnesota (where an extremely narrow recount drags on) would give them a 60-seat majority, allowing them to break Republican filibusters, but no such luck. Meanwhile, the recently forlorn Matt Drudge's fedora has been spinning in the air all morning. [Journal-Constitution]
