Variety today announced that a new Gossip Girl spinoff is in the works, but The CW offers precious few details other than that it’s not based on Cecily von Ziegesar’s Jenny-based spinoff, The It Girl. So what else can it be? Grandma CeCe, the Early Years? Dorota Explains It All? A reverse Rags to Riches in which the character of Nate Archibald is forced to work in an Alaskan cannery to support the love child he unwittingly created with the Duchess, communicated entirely through song? These are just off the top of our heads, but we’d watch any of them. As long as Aaron Rose isn’t involved.
