We love bears — the real-animal kind, the stuffed, cuddle-them-in-bed kind, and the hot-burly-guy kind — but today, we're a bit jealous of the real kind, however cute they are (behind bars), because they have job security in this economy. The Bronx Zoo and New York Aquarium are facing state-funding cuts of up to 55 percent, but the animals won't be lining up at the unemployment office any time soon: "We can 't fire our bears or furlough our sea lions," says the guy who oversees the zoo.
