Biden, As Is His Wont, Makes Politically Tactless Joke

  • 1/21/09 at 5:29 PM

We have to admit, we already love having a vice-president that just blurts stuff out without really caring about the ramifications. It's not as funny as, say, having one who can't spell, but it's still pretty good. Earlier today Joe Biden was looking for a copy of the oath of office so he could swear in a group of senior staff. "My memory is not as good as Justice Roberts, Chief Justice Roberts," he cracked. Everyone laughed except one dude: Barack Obama, who displayed not even a hint of amusement — perhaps because, one day into his presidency, he's not ready to start a feud with the guy who will rule on the constitutionality of his policies for at least the next four years.
