It used to be they just stole books.

It used to be they just stole books.

Wow, the stats on Old Crime are going to be insane this year. Edward Solomon, 71, a financial-products salesman, has been arrested for stealing $5,900 from the Trustco bank in Peekskill, New York. Unlike his contemporaries Bernie Madoff, 70, and Arthur Nadel, 76, Solomon pulled off his bad-boy heist the old-fashioned way: by holding the teller up at knifepoint. He was arrested at his office in Rockefeller Center today and charged with robbery and grand larceny. What did we tell you? Old people: You can't trust 'em. [NYP]
