When Robbing Banks, Be Careful What You Use for Your Demand Note

A bank robber was busted for stealing more than $1,500 from a West Village bank after he gave the teller a threatening note that said: “Good morning. Do not be stupid today or people will [be] dead. Hand over the big bills. Hurry!” The teller forked over the cash and later flipped over the note, which was a subscription mailing and had the robber’s landlord’s address on it. [NYP]
