Researchers have begun outfitting birds with tiny backpacks that track their location and speed during migration, revealing a treasure trove of information that ornithologists apparently find interesting. That’s all well and good, but are we seriously supplying our mortal enemies with sophisticated technology and just hoping they don’t use it against us?
