Shallon Lester Quits ‘Gatecrasher’ Column

Shallon Lester, the legwoman for the Daily News' "Gatecrasher" column — the only such worker that we've never actually met while out and about working — has quit the tabloid. She was a holdover from "Rush & Molloy," where she toiled alongside "'crasher" co-columnist Sean Evans. You may also remember Lester from her scantily clad appearance on the cover of Steppin' Out magazine, or her ill-fated reality-show ambitions. She'll be working for Sony. Hordes of aspiring gossipmongers, get those résumés ready — we hear they might be looking for a replacement soon.
