In a piece of self-reporting today, the Times, like so many foolish Bond villains, reveals its plan for its own survival in this increasingly dire media climate. (Amusingly, no Times executives would be interviewed for an article in their own paper about their own paper.) The gist of their so-called "last-man-standing" strategy: hold on for now and then fill the void that's left when all the other newspapers die out.
