Tropicana Admits Defeat, Scraps Crappy New Design

Juice zealots are celebrating after Tropicana announced that it plans to abandon its recently introduced generic-looking carton and bring back the apparently beloved classic design. The company is buckling to pressure "after consumers complained about the makeover in letters, e-mail messages and telephone calls and clamored for a return of the original look." Pretty much everyone agreed that the new look was an odd choice, but who was moved enough to actually sit down and write the company about it? The juice tastes the same, people. [NYT]
