Perhaps you thought Andrew Cuomo would be feeling pleased with himself now that he's gotten fifteen of twenty AIG executives to return their retention bonuses? That he's patted himself on the back and held an interior party for himself and kissed his reflection in the mirror? Surely he has. But this hero's work is not yet done. A source tells The Wall Street Journal that the New York attorney general plans to subpoena AIG for information on its credit default swaps, so that he can assess for himself the validity of AIG CEO Edward Liddy's claims that the company needed its employees' expertise to unwind its books. Especially the British ones. [WSJ]
