After 30 years with Time Inc., managing editor Jim Kelly is stepping down, Keith Kelly reports. The news icon, who helmed Time from 2001 to 2006, was tired of his bureaucratic gig. "No kid grows up wanting to be the sheriff of standards and practices," he cracked. "My wife said the only thing I can't do is write a book: Hello Bourbon, It's Me, Jim." [NYP]
