The White House today said that as part of his visit to Southern California, President Obama will pop by Burbank for an appearance on the Tonight Show with Jay Leno on Thursday. Why? To talk about the economy, a White House official tells the Times, which asks, understandably, if Obama plans to be funny about the economy, which is, you know, not so funny. "As funny as the times allow," the official said. Sounds like ... fun? Hey, while they're at it, maybe they can get Nouriel Roubini on, too?
