Kelly Killoren Bensimon assured us last night at the Condé Nast Traveler Hot List party that she doesn’t “hate” her Real Housewives co-star Bethenny Frankel. “Why would I? Hate’s a really strong word,” she told us. “I respect her as a dynamic go-getter. I really have a lot of respect for her. It’s a lot to be single in New York, working — it’s a lot. And like, on your own? Listen, it’s not easy.” Wow, that almost sounded actually nice! But what didn’t seem so friendly was what we saw on television last night, during the red-carpet arrivals for the Bravo “A-List Awards” (a more meaningless, halfhearted event you will never see). Chipper Bravo producer Andy Cohen interviewed Bethenny, Kelly, and Ramona Singer before the show (it was taped over the weekend) and asked about tensions. “I’ve got the microphone, so I can clock her if she tries anything,” Bethenny laughed. “Also, I wore extra-high heels tonight, so I’m up here,” she said, gesturing with her hand, “and she’s down here.” Oh, burn, Bethenny!
