Obama’s Easter Pastor Preaches the Worst Kind of Hate

Yesterday, President Obama and family took in an Easter service at Washington's St. John's Episcopal Church that was marred by yet another pastor's divisive rhetoric. "I'm a fairly charitable person," the Reverend Luis Leon said, "but I have to tell you I hate the Yankees." While it's unknown whether Obama laughed at the remark, there's certainly no doubt that he was sitting in the pews at the time. Now the pressure is building for Obama to both reject and denounce Reverend Leon's hate speech, or risk being seen as endorsing it with his silence. [NYDN]
