Might as well get comfortable, everybody, because it looks like Republican Jim Tedisco is planning to pull a Norm Coleman in the razor-thin contest for Senator Kirsten Gillibrand's former congressional seat (Democrat Scott Murphy, as of this moment, leads by 47 votes). In addition to challenging ballots of Skidmore College students and voters with second homes outside the district, Tedisco's campaign has targeted the absentee ballot of none other than Senator Kirsten Gillibrand, on the grounds that she was in the county that day and should have voted in person. Gillibrand's campaign says she actually wasn't. So ... this is awkward. [Hill]
