Bloomberg Appears Mildly Pleased Playing the Congas
Mayor Bloomberg stopped by a restaurant in Spanish Harlem yesterday as part of a marketing campaign, Nine in '09, aimed toward boosting local tourism to various ethnic neighborhoods around the city. You would think, though, that if Hizzoner is trying to get people excited about El Barrio, he could do a better job looking like he's actually having fun there. Watch him play the congas up onstage with a live band, his expression a mix of minimal satisfaction and a desire to go to the bathroom.
