Cousin Of Montauk Monster Washes Up on Long Island

Last week, a creature bearing some resemblance to Monty, the Montauk Monster who captivated the nation last summer, allegedly washed up on the shores of Southland, Long Island. The people behind the website Montauk-Monster.com took a short film of it, and after much prodding and poking of this fatter, paler version of the beloved Monty (don't watch the video — it's gross) were unable to deduce what it was: a genuine monster or a very, very unlucky puppy. But their discovery does tell us one thing: It's definitely summer.
