Nicolas Cage Film Claims More Victims in Times Square

After Monday morning’s scary Ferrari accident that left two bystanders hospitalized, the Times Square set of The Sorcerer’s Apprentice was beset by another tragedy this morning. A car not affiliated with the shoot flew out of control and plowed into a group of crew members sitting on the sidewalk drinking coffee. Nine of them were sent to local hospitals. We are not making light of this situation when we say this: This movie was clearly not meant to be made. Based on the epic poem that inspired the much-beloved Disney movie Fantasia, the modern remake stars Nicolas Cage as a sorcerer looking for an apprentice in New York City. Unless the thousands of dancing brooms are recruited to fix Nicolas Cage’s weave, we just can’t see how anything good will come of this.
