At Last, a Wedding-Reception Surprise That Doesn’t Involve Theater Gays

Consistently amusing comedy group Improv Everywhere's latest trick turns the whole "Wedding Reception Surprise" tradition on its head with its latest video. Usually these YouTube clips involve staged musical numbers, choreographed dancing to old chestnuts, or (our favorite) a poorly placed candle and some Silly String. This time, though, the prank gang stages an entire wedding reception for an unsuspecting bride and groom as they emerge from New York's City Hall. The joke, of course, is on the comedy troupe, as the couple immediately plays along and hams it up, leaving them with little of their usual stunned public reactions to mock.
