Diane Von Furstenberg and Barry Diller Give $10 Million Challenge Gift to High Line
Barry Diller and wife Diane Von Furstenberg will give $10 million to the Friends of the High Line, the nonprofit organization charged with paying the $2 to $4 million annual operating costs for the new park, set to open later this month. It is among the four largest gifts ever given to a city park, and comes on top of a $5 million donation the couple gave in 2005.
