Former vice-president Dick Cheney ended up selling his book to Mary Matalin's imprint at Simon & Schuster for upwards of $2 million, according to publishing sources. The untitled work will come out in spring 2011, after George Bush's book. "In terms of carrying grudges or trying to settle grudges, that's not my purpose," Cheney told the AP. "If it had been, I wouldn't have lasted very long in politics." Mmmm. Tell that to Iraq. [NYDN]
