Poll: Gay-Marriage Bill the Crowning Achievement of a Terrible Governor

A newly released NY1 poll shows that, while New Yorkers still really don't like Governor Paterson, they do appreciate his push for gay marriage. When asked what has been the best thing Paterson has done since becoming governor, most people had no idea whatsoever. But for those that could answer the question, the gay-marriage bill topped the list. Also, 1 percent said Paterson's biggest accomplishment as governor is being black. (His Runner's World photo was, inexplicably, not one of the choices.) [NY1]
