Reader Kym sent us this upsetting photo in which a small child, sensing the Sad Panda's inner hurt, reaches out to comfort him. As you can see, this gesture only served to make the panda more upset, as all human contact, we imagine, only reminds him of the relationships he cannot engage in, because of his extreme depression and/or his non-verbal possible Chinese-ness. Either way, as you can see, the interaction caused him to literally double over in sadness. Our heart breaks.
