Taking Woodstock, a new Ang Lee–directed film about the origins of the infamous sixties festival held upstate, opens in August. So when we caught up with the movie's star (and New York cover model), Demetri Martin, at the premiere this week, we wondered if he ever tried any acid or psychedelic drugs — you know, to prepare. "No," he told us. "I have all these food allergies, so I’ve tried very few things in my life." Why? "I’m afraid of getting high and being like, ‘I don’t care what kind of sandwich this is!’ And then people are all like, ‘How’d he die?
