Former Secretary of Defense Robert McNamara Dies

Robert S. McNamara, who served as United States secretary of Defense from 1961 to 1968 under presidents Kennedy and Johnson, and later as president of the World Bank for thirteen years, died this morning at his home in Washington, according to family members. He was 93. [WP]
