G8 Photo Girl Will Never Wear a Dress Again

The parents of the 17-year-old Brazilian girl at the center of the now-infamous G8 summit photo are less than flattered at the attention their daughter's backside received from the world's most powerful, pervy leaders. "My daughter is not a model and she is not a sex symbol," father Eduardo Tavares said in his fairly unflattering defense of daughter Mayara. "That photograph has ruined my whole family." Mother Lucia Rodrigues was also none too pleased. "If I were there, I would have boxed their ears," she says, perhaps employing the old-timey phrase to subtly insult President Obama's famously prominent appendages. She further embarrassed her daughter by revealing, "Mayara is timid and ashamed of her body. This was the first time in her life that she wore a dress." Hm. If that's the case, it seems like this incident could actually end up giving Mayara a much-needed ego boost. Of course, it may be for naught, since she'll never be allowed to leave the house again.
