There are currently a number of passengers trapped in a 5 train at the Wall Street station downtown because of live wires next to the car. Transit workers are awaiting a power shutdown so they can evacuate them. The situation is apparently pretty scary — there's a lot of smoke and noise, according to NY1, but there were no explosions or fires. No one is reported to be hurt, but the 4/5 lines are shut down in both directions. [NY1]
