Earlier this week, Iranian president Mahmoud Ahmadinejad offered up his latest denial of the Holocaust, calling it a "myth" and a "false pretext" for setting up a "Zionist regime" in Israel. Naturally, this came just before his planned visit to New York City for the U.N. General Assembly. Unbeknownst to the Helmsley Hotel in midtown, during his trip, Ahmadinejad was scheduled to speak at a student conference that had long been booked in their banquet facilities. But once the hotel heard of his planned visit, they canceled the function. "Neither the Iranian Mission nor President Ahmadinejad is welcome at any Helmsley facility," spokesman Howard Rubenstein said. "The Helmsley organization is grateful to United Against Nuclear Iran for bringing this matter to its attention so that appropriate action could be taken."

Oh, and by the way, L'shana tova, everybody!
