John Edwards' Hacky-Sack Jam Band Promise To Rielle Hunter

Buried in an otherwise dreary "Where Are They Crying About Their Ruined Lives Now?" piece about John Edwards, Elizabeth Edwards, and Rielle Hunter is this revelation, taken by the Times from Edwards aide Andrew Young's book proposal:
"He wrote that Mr. Edwards once calmed an anxious Ms. Hunter by promising her that after his wife died, he would marry her in a rooftop ceremony in New York with an appearance by the Dave Matthews Band."
Wow, that is alarmingly specific! And sad. And gross. (And we're not just talking about the choice of band!) Dave Matthews is probably not pleased to have been dragged into this. [NYT]
