Just a day after Al Gore bathed Mayor Bloomberg in a sea of praise for his environmental record, Hizzoner admitted that flying in a helicopter to New Jersey for Thursday's U2 concert was a waste of energy, but added that "it would also be more efficient to swim across the Hudson River."
