Yesterday, the State Department’s Flickr stream included this photo of the Obamas with Spanish prime minister José Luis Rodríguez Zapatero and his heretofore unseen teenage daughters, who are not allowed to be photographed to protect their privacy. And now all the world knows that 13-year-old Alba and 16-year-old Laura are in the midst of their goth phase. Next up: their feminist hippie phase.
